Passion projects for my son and daughter. DayMakr helps me plan my day when we have nowhere to go. My kids loves Teen Titans Go, hence the Memory-match game. I jumped on the League of Boatwrights project because of my son's love for sailboats. And, Bookswopp was created as a request from my wife because our bookshelves were overflowing with children's books no longer read and orphaned by our kids.
Shoobilee A shoe subscription service that delivers shoes you've selected right to your door with free shipping & returns! ● Convert PSDs to HTML using CSS and Bootstrap ● Build out weekly HTML email campaigns ● Maintain and updated new features for the Shoobilee website ● Implement SEO best practices
Memory Match A Teen Titan themed card-matching game for children of all ages. ● A card game with a responsive field that tracks a player’s accuracy, guesses, and statistics. ● Utilized HTML to structure the basic game skeleton and used CSS & Bootstrap to style the aesthetic portion ● Combined Javascript & jQuery to provide game logic, card randomization, animation states & sound effects
League of Boatwrights A website dedicated to small boat enthusiasts passionate about boat-building. ● A site built with Drupal 8 that provides resources on boats for boat-builders. ● Created functionality that filters & sorts through the database and displays what was requested ● Customized site with modules and built site structure by using content types, blocks & views
Bookswopp (currently in progress) An online book swapping community for parents with bookshelves filled with books their kids no longer have an interest in. ● A web-app being built with ember.js

With an interest in tech and education, I love having good communication and working with people. Having been a business English teacher enabled me to understand the importance of continual growth and sustainable study habits. I am highly reliable, detail-oriented, and always ready to share knowledge and see projects come to completion.
If time permits, strumming my guitar and belting out a song with my daughter is on top of my list of leisure activities. A close second would be building an unrecognizable structure out of LEGO blocks with my son.
